Description:	Introduction The City of Weyburn (“the City”) is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the downtown core to develop design concepts for enhancements and improvements. The keys to this project are to revitalize the downtown area through comprehensive public consultation. The City of Weyburn is looking to revitalize the downtown core to increase economic activity and improve the vitality of the area. Key intended outcomes of the project: Increase pedestrian traffic through the downtown Increase gathering and socialization opportunities Increased occupancy rates for commercial properties Enhanced esthetics overall Enhanced public spaces The improvements would be focused on the area within the boundaries of Coteau Avenue (north boundary), 4^th Street (east boundary), Railway Avenue (south boundary) and 2^nd Street (west boundary).
